ACT Beratung Berlin

Psychological counselling in English in Berlin

Living in Berlin doesn't necessarily mean that German is the language in which you can best talk about personal topics.

I offer ACT-based psychological counselling in both English and German.

Who this is for

  • International professionals and expats living in Berlin
  • People in bilingual or intercultural relationships
  • Anyone who can express themselves more clearly in English than in German
  • Partners or friends of clients looking for an English-speaking option

Common topics

  • Overthinking and rumination
  • Self-doubt and self-confidence
  • Finding direction after a move or a big life change
  • Setting boundaries
  • Decision-making

The ACT approach

Sessions draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – an approach that helps you relate differently to difficult thoughts and feelings while still acting on what matters to you.

This is ACT-based counselling, not medical psychotherapy: the focus is on practical psychological flexibility, not on diagnosing or treating a condition.

How it works

Every collaboration starts with a free, no-obligation 15-minute introduction call, so we can see whether my approach is a good fit for you before you commit to anything.

Pricing

€100 per individual session (50 minutes). No packages, no minimum number of sessions – you decide whether and when you want another session.

Couples or business consulting are priced higher and can be discussed on request.

Online now, in person soon

All sessions currently take place online via video call. A centrally located practice in Berlin is currently being selected for future in-person sessions.

Frequently asked questions

Can the entire process happen in English?

Yes. From your first message to your last session, everything can happen entirely in English.

Do I need to speak German to book a session?

No. You can handle everything, including getting in touch, entirely in English.

Is this the same as therapy?

No. This is ACT-based, ACT-informed psychological counselling – not psychotherapy or medical treatment. If therapy seems like a better fit, I'll help you find the right direction.
